01 · The situation

What needed solving.

RLX moves freight by road, air and sea, warehouses it, and clears it through customs, across three countries with three sets of rules. Explaining that to a merchant who just wants to know whether you can get a container from Jebel Ali to Beirut, and what they need to give you, is harder than it sounds. The website had to make a complicated service legible without dumbing it down, and it had to set up the next thing, which is the app.

02 · What we built

The system underneath.

A website that lays the services out the way a customer thinks about them: how it moves, where it waits, and who clears it.

  • Clear pages for road, air and sea freight, warehousing and customs
  • All three offices, Beirut, Dubai and Cairo, so a shipper knows there is someone on each end
  • Enquiries that route to the right office
  • The groundwork for the mobile app that is now in build

03 · What it's like now

How it runs today.

A merchant importing into Lebanon or Egypt reads the site and understands what RLX will handle and what they will be asked for. The sales team sends a link instead of a long WhatsApp explanation. And RLX trusted us with the next step, a merchant app for consolidating orders and shipments from China. It is in build, so we will say more when it ships.
